From distributors to street food vendors to families of farmers and the youth, we are working together with all our partners to help build their capability and make them future ready.
Upskilling street food vendors
HCCB has partnered with Food Safety and Standards Authority of India FSSAI) to train owners and employees of thousands of food service outlets and street food vendors, and focus on food safety, hygiene and waste management. This unique initiative is helping spread FSSAI’s mission of raising the safety standards of street food across the country.
Pragati is HCCB’s capability building programme aimed specifically at women entrepreneurs. HCCB combines experience at plants with classroom sessions to help women understand the actual manufacturing process and business skills. More than 50,000 women have been positively impacted, and empowered through the Pragati programme till date.
Education for the youth
HCCB, through its Career Development Centre (CDC), has been skilling youth across different states in India, making them future ready. Many CDC students have also gone on to become entrepreneurs. We run these CDCs in association with the NIIT Foundation.
