Rainwater Harvesting To Restore the Water Table

Ensuring a continuous supply of water for the local communities, HCCB joined the tribals in Betul district of Madhya Pradesh and Action for Social Advancement (ASA) to eliminate the water scarcity of Shahpur and Chicholi, by exploring the traditional methods of water harvesting. Through building stop dams and ponds and dig wells with the help of local people has quenched the thirst of the 3700 families living in 38 neighboring villages.
