Shri Thiru Thangam Thennarasu, Minister for Industries, Tamil Official Language and Tamil Culture & Archeology, Tamil Nadu, and Neeraj Garg, Chairman & CEO, Hindustan Coca-Cola Beverages (HCCB) dedicated an Emergency Response Vehicle to the ‘Medical Rapid Response Team’ of Poonamallee Health Unit District (HUD) near Chennai at a function held on 13 October 2021.
Meant essentially to deliver medicines and CoVID vaccines, the Emergency Response Vehicle is expected to serve a population of nearly 7 Lakh people spread across around 400 sq km of the Poonamallee taluk.
In another event, Neeraj Garg, Chairman & CEO, HCCB, also inaugurated a 1000-liter per hour capacity fully automated RO Unit for safe drinking water at the Nemam Panchayat. Equipped with fully automated and supported by a borewell, the water supply unit to provide safe drinking water to around 2500 people of 800 households spread across 3 village hamlets in Nemam near Chennai.
